The Bank for International Settlements is recruiting a Business Analyst in our Finance unit. We are an international organisation promoting global monetary and financial stability, and a bank for central banks. You will support our mission by assisting the Finance team with the ongoing operation of financial reporting and product control systems, and the coordination of enhancement projects.
You will plan and coordinate Finance system developments with the Bank’s IT unit, drafting business requirements for the enhancement and automation of accounting and reporting processes. In addition, as this is a critical role in the BIS’s business continuity plan, you will perform regular testing of business continuity readiness.
We look forward to meeting candidates with very strong IT skills and in-depth knowledge of accounting and banking systems. You will have a university degree in business administration, IT or a quantitative discipline, and five years relevant work experience. You will also have excellent written and spoken English. A primary accounting qualification (ACA, CPA or equivalent experience) is a plus.
