Audit Senior

Ormerod Rutter currently employ over 200 people at multi-site offices around Worcestershire. Due to continuous success we are looking to recruit energetic, confident and ambitious team members to join the business as we grow. We have an exciting opportunity in our busy Audit team for an enthusiastic Audit Senior, who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As an Audit Senior you will be responsible for:

• Leading, planning and reviewing on-site audit assignments for an exciting client portfolio across a variety of sectors
• Identify areas of risk within clients' business and define the appropriate audit approach
• Preparing financial statements for Limited Companies
• Preparing corporation tax computations for review by the tax department
• Assisting junior team members both on site and in the office and review of work to ensure audit objectives have been met

Due to the nature of the role, ideally you will be ACA or ACCA part qualified /qualified (or qualified by experience)and have the ability to competently manage a portfolio of clients. You will be able to demonstrate a competent and methodical approach to audits on site, review others work through coaching and mentoring and have the ability to identify strategic improvements, as required.

It is essential that the successful candidate will have strong technical capabilities, experience of working in an accountancy practice environment, a full driving license and their own vehicle.
