The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager in Pricing will be an integral member of the Participating Fund business actuarial team. He/she will work in collaboration with Product Development team and other actuarial colleagues in support of the overall organizational goals in regards to the life insurance product development and pricing.

- Collaborate with counterparts in Business Department/ Product Development/ other Actuarial teams to ensure successful launch of Par and Investment-linked products
- Support in preparation of presentation materials to Product Development Committee for new product pricing
- Own the timeliness & accuracy of product pricing deliveries
- Ensure accuracy and robustness in technical pricing
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure products are launched within stipulated timeline
- Highlight pricing technical issues, product features and recommend solutions
- Ensure regulatory compliance with MAS and other external regulatory bodies (e.g. CPF and LIA), create higher standard on the premium certification report & regulatory filing processes
- Pro-actively propose and execute improvements on product pricing processes
- Support team in ad-hoc product related projects/ tasks
Qualifications
- Degree in Actuarial Science with at least 4 years of work experience in Life actuarial function, preferably with Life / Health insurance pricing experience in the Singapore market
- Good progress in actuarial qualifications with either US, UK, or Australia Actuarial Institutes
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in speaking and written English
- Experience in Prophet will be an advantage
