Job Purpose Manage the process of financial reporting based on agreed timelines and standards through the provision of analysis of all key performance indicators Main Accountabilities Manage the financial reporting activities in accordance with SLA, corporate and statutory reporting standards for all financial reports relating to the Business Unit. These will include: Manage inputs into income, balance sheet and cash flow financial statements Authorises journal entries Prepares monthly and year-end financial statements Inputs monthly commentary into group reporting variance analysis files Manages general ledger accounts on a monthly basis in view to identifying risk areas to management Perform structured and adhoc analysis in order to provide insightful, accurate and timely information to support decisions of senior management Prepare external financial reports for designated stakeholders Manages the internal and external audit function Identify and communicate process problems arising from performance and processes analysis; propose improvement ideas and assist in getting them implemented Develop and maintain relationships with department stakeholders, typically colleagues in the SSC and the In-country Staff by ensuring that issues raised are promptly addressed Participate in team development through sharing problems, ideas and achievements where appropriate Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales and expenses Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent qualification Ideally qualified chartered accountant or chartered management accountant At least 5 years financial management experience, preferably within the Telecoms industry SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Is committed to a strategic and systematic change process Positive attitude to change and proven ability to deliver results and drive process change in an dynamic environment Analytical mind, strong problem solving skills, adhering to standards to maintain the integrity of the financial data Is able to communicate with and develop constructive relationships with a wide range of internal and external international contacts.
