An opportunity has arisen for a 12 month maternity cover as Talent Communications and Brand Advocacy Lead, to join our EMEIA Financial Services BMC team. This role will work closely with both the BMC and Talent teams, to build and execute communications strategies and plans around key employee engagement initiatives.

The opportunity
We're looking for someone who is an experienced communication and engagement professional, with a proven background in delivering strategic and tactical communications across multiple geographies. You will support employee engagement and advocacy strategies for the firm; be pivotal in helping to build an internal working culture that motivates and enables the business, especially around our people, culture, brand and values; and ultimately raise the profile of the organisation both internally and externally.

Your key responsibilities
You will oversee delivery of leadership and employee engagement communications strategy and tactical execution in line with overall business and talent strategic priorities, and in collaboration with Talent and BMC leaders using employee engagement / metrics driven approach. This includes working with and overseeing the work of the Talent Communications Manager and Talent Communications Executive.

Partnering with Go-to-Market, Content and Brand teams, you will integrate our people story into our EMEIA FSO strategic narrative, ensuring internal and external alignment, and with employee experience front of mind, as well as developing and maintaining a consis tent, inclusive story that our people understand, support and feel proud to share with others.

You will lead on and promote employee advocacy initiatives, as well as partnering with functional talent leads to develop integrated talent communications strategy.

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Experience of implementing dynamic communications across multiple communication platforms, with good knowledge of internal communications and engagement strategies and HR subjects.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships at a senior level and to team across boundaries (geographical and functional)

    Ideally, you'll also have

  • Proven experience of handling people, culture and employer branding communication, and have a proven track record of working with senior stakeholders and taking ideas and turning them into engaging content.
  • Experience of social media campaigns.
