Senior Finance Business Analyst
As the Senior Finance Business Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting this leading NSW Government department by providing data and process analysis for SAP Financial systems, to ensure financial management and performance reports provide management and external stakeholder confidence in the financial information being presented.
Key Accountabilities
Undertake detailed analysis, facilitation and documentation within Payroll Processes, Operational Procure to Pay and Month End Processing
Lead various improvement activities including data analysis, process and procedure development
Proactively collaborate with key business stakeholders to produce quality deliverables on time
Provide input into risk and issue identification and management, reporting and communication.
Lead and/or assist in the implementation of updated or new processes ensuring that communications and training material has been developed, is accurate and can be delivered.
As required, prepare draft training materials and artefacts to support the implementation of updated processes.
Assist in the preparation of meeting documentation, minutes and agendas as required.
Analysing the information and data gathered and validating through review, analysis and further investigation as required and recommend improvement opportunities as required
About You
Experience in process re-engineering or change projects especially and preparing the necessary documentation
SAP Financials, HR and Payroll preferably with ECC6;
MS-Visio, MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Powerpoint
Exposure to finance and procurement functions ideally with a focus on the following process and application areas: Operational Procurement, Accounts payable, Month end processes particularly with journal processing, Payroll processes, General Ledger
Ability to communicate at all levels
Tenacity and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently with little direction and oversight
Sound documentation skills
