Stramit is part of the Fletcher Building Group and is a major Australian manufacturer of roll-formed steel building products including roof and wall cladding, guttering, fascia, purlins, flooring and structural formwork.
About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our team in Tasmania. Based in Launceston and servicing the Northern Tasmania region, you will report to the Hobart Branch Manager. As an Account Manager you will:
- Take responsibility for the management of accounts within your assigned territory
- Deliver agreed revenue, sales margins and sales programs
- Develop and maintain a high level of business and market awareness
- Build solid, long-term relationships and develop a genuine understanding of your clients' needs
About you
- Proven background in a B2B sales environment
- Experience from within building products, construction or similar industrial environment - ideal however not essential
- Experience in a similar sales role - e.g. Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Key Account Manager etc.
- Previous exposure to CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar) will be very highly regarded
