Portfolio Management Analyst, Leading Global Real Estate Investor, London, UK

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with a wide range of real estate portfolio companies, and other European investments held within private equity funds. The Analyst will assist senior colleagues in the performance management of the portfolio companies and assist portfolio companies in preparation and review of all internal fund reporting, marketing materials, acquisition accounting and other financial and operational initiatives as required. The Analyst will also be expected to assist the acquisition team in evaluation and set-up of policies and procedures within any newly acquired businesses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform complex financial analysis and valuations
• Work with colleagues on aligning corporate financial models with internal reporting results
• Participate in preparation of co-investor reporting packages, investor day presentations, and other marketing packages required on behalf of the portfolio companies
• Assist in development or oversight of working capital management strategies and accurate dividend forecasting within the businesses
• Collaborate with operating management teams and asset management colleagues on corporate development transactions as required, including financings, acquisitions, sales forecasting, and strategic planning
• Support the acquisition teams on evaluation of prospective businesses, particularly in respect to assessment of their internal reporting teams and capabilities

YOUR PROFILE:

• Strong analytical financial modelling and valuation skills, ideally with a real estate and/or corporate focus
• An excellent interpersonal, analytical, and creative problem-solving ability
• Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development
• Fluent German, Spanish, or French is highly beneficial but not a necessity
