My client is a prestigious global business consulting firm who continues to grow in the Australian market. Their Risk and Compliance team is expanding rapidly and this growth is creating opportunities for professionals who are seeking a fresh challenge and an opportunity to work closely with inspiring leaders, significant clients and like-minded, innovative professionals with a variety of different skills
You will be involved across Risk and Regulatory projects to understand the client's business landscape, perform business process analysis as well as identify strategic solutions.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Develop and implement risk and security strategies for improving risk and compliance practices
Build and maintain effective relationships with a range of key stakeholders
Work with the clients to ensure the project meets the needs of the customer and business and is aligned to the overall strategy
Define and drive 'As Is' and 'To Be' process discussions
Analyse relevant regulatory obligations and perform high level impact assessment
Facilitate workshop sessions with Business stakeholders to prepare Process maps
Support Senior Project Manager in constructing the business case and benefits realisation plan, specifically analysing the proposed solution to deliver the desired business outcome and associated project costs
Ensure that risks (project and operations) are managed in accordance with frameworks
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst capacity within large, complex environments
Australian Financial Services experience preferably in Regulatory space (Prudential standards)
Presentation and analytical skills along with excellent stakeholder management skills
Risk experience (e.g. Credit Risk)
AGILE, Waterfall and Project Management tool proficiency an advantage
