Finance Manager - International SME

Surrey based international technology business is recruiting a Finance Manager, reporting to the MD.

The role is broad with one direct report and is responsible for all aspects of finance.

The company is small with 15 staff based in the Surrey office

Description

Duties in the Surrey based Finance Manager role include:

• Production and continued improvement of the monthly management accounts pack which includes: consolidated P&L, KPI's, cash flow report & P&L by product.

• To provide commercial financial analysis support to the MD which will include product pricing and profitability, business planning and financial input to tenders.

• Accurate reporting and accounting:

• maintenance and improvement of complex deferred income accounting,

• improvement of revenue recognition processes

• multi-site accounting which necessitates the management of foreign currency transactions and balances,

• improvement of product accounting,

• annual computation of R&D tax credit,

• annual budgeting and regular forecasting

• quarterly VAT returns

• monthly payroll and all year end returns

• compilation of audit file

• day to day transactions and monthly reconciliations

• HR for growing team, namely: maintenance of the HR policies, recruiting, evaluations

• Continued improvement of the companies information systems including the CRM

• Ad hoc project and support work

• To liaise with the external accountants and the auditors.

Profile

To be considered you will be:

• Qualified accountant
• Relevant, broad experience in an SME
• Good Excel skills and experience of using Sage

Job Offer

Salary of £48,000 - £57,000 plus benefits
