Claims Manager - 3 days PW

Aston Carter is working with one of Australia's leading businesses to support their quest to find an Injury and Claims Manager on a part time basis (3 days PW) for a 10 month Fixed Term Contract. About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of best practice regulatory compliant incident, injury and claims management services to the organisations staff and employees.
This role will require detailed experience in the workers compensation industry, as the role will include providing support to our people who have non work-related injuries or illness and an ability to coordinate, develop and manage plans that support stay at work or return to work needs.

About You
To be successful in the role you will need;
- Proven experience in rehabilitation and injury management including development and management of return to work plans, compensation claims including complex and litigated matters
- 2 + years Return to Work or Workers Compensation experience for a group, retail or self-insurer
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills to deliver the best outcomes in injury and claims management
- Ability to foresee and understand the impact of claims outcomes on broader business
- Effectively able to maintain how accuracy with administration associated with the position
