A renowned Defence Integrator with a large presence in Canberra are seeking an IT Security Officer

Your new company
This Global company is a world leading provider of military systems and services. Their focus is on the provision of collective training and simulation support solutions. They have offices based all around Australia, with a large presence in Canberra.

Your new role
Your role as the System Security Officer is to ensure the security and installation of systems federation and integration in an event/activity environment. You will directly oversee network configuration security, and provide incident identification, response and resolution. You will be working with the IT Security Manager to manage security risks, and conduct subject matter advise to stakeholders. You will be given the opportunity to work on high-level tasks such as ISM/DSM documentation, and IRAP audits.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have IT qualifications, and a strong understanding of ITIL service management and service design. A thorough understanding of security and accreditation systems, and previous experience as a Systems Administrator, or network professional will see you excel in this role.
