Tax Accountant

A new Tax Accountant opportunity to join an acquisitive, fast growing international consultancy firm, based in their Head Office in Reading. This role will work across a portfolio of clients and countries, taking ownership of all Tax Computations, Compliance and Advisory. This is a great position to learn while expanding your knowledge base either as an experienced Tax Accountant or while training towards qualification.

Description

Based in the head Office in Reading, there is a requirement for a new Tax Accountant to take ownership of a range of Tax Planning, Advisory and Compliance duties for a portfolio of clients. It would be expected that the successful candidate takes responsibility for reviewing and advising on tax computations and provide insightful tax advisory support to their clients. As the Tax Accountant you will be surrounded by an experienced team of Tax professionals with a variety of specialisms, our client is looking for an ambitious and inquisitive candidate who is either Part-qualified and aspiring to have a career in Tax or is qualified and looking to join and established team.

Profile

Candidates for the Tax Accountant position will ideally possess either an Accountancy or Tax qualification (ACA, ACCA or CTA) OR be Part-Qualified and looking to continue studying whilst working. Experience from either a professional services/accountancy firm, or an in-house position.

An understanding of Tax Accounting, Corporation tax, in addition to an appreciation of the demands in a complex business structure. Candidates should be able to balance priorities in a high growth company, and be comfortable working in a fast paced organisation.
