My client is a global payments processing company.

Description

The Pricing Analyst based in Watford will have the following responsibilities:

• Key contact for Business Development in the pricing of large corporate deals providing analysis and advice;

• Ensuring all pricing process and procedures are being followed; looking for opportunities on continual bases to enhance these procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the pricing process;

• Responsible for upkeep of pricing model, updating on a regular basis due to cost changes and market changes;

• Portfolio analysis; detailed portfolio analysis of our various markets in Europe, analysing trends, providing advice and presenting to senior management;

• Merchant Profitability; reviewing merchant profitability on an on-going basis looking for revenue opportunities as a result of detailed analysis;

• Driving forward Revenue opportunities to maximise profitability

Profile

The successful Pricing Analyst based in Watford will have the following exposure:

• Excellent Excel skills (including Excel VBA);
  
• Experienced Financial Analyst with high level of commerciality;
  
• Experience with statistical modelling and pricing optimisation;
  
• Data mining experience;
  
• Trend Analysis;
  
• Fluency in English;
  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  
• Preferably internal customer facing experience;
  
• Interest in and ability to analyse data, and present in meaningful way;
  
• Capability to work with aggressive timelines and targets;
  
• Process oriented;
  
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics (or equivalent);
  
• Minimum 3 - 4 years' experience in a Finance oriented role.
