The Financial Accountant will be responsible for a range of activities in this highly diverse role which combines technical accounting and commercial exposure. You will be preparing month end figures, the statutory accounts and be a key point of contact for the year end audit.

Description

  • Owning the accounting processes and provide timely information
  • Responsible for managing and delivering month end reporting, including accruals & prepayments, intercompany & group reporting
  • Producing the monthly statutory group cashflow statement
  • Supporting the External Audit process lead by the Head of Finance
  • Completion of PAYE & VAT returns
  • Oversee and cover payroll
  • Liaison with the Group Tax team in relation to CT & VAT queries / support
  • Deputise for Head of Finance in relation to authorisation and approval for supplier payment

    • Profile

    * Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

    * SAGE experience is beneficial

    * Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft applications

    * Self-motivated and confident

    * Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management

    Job Offer

    Up to £40,000
