The Role

On offer is the role of Tax Manager that will see you manage a professional team responsible for meeting DHA's various tax compliance obligations as well as supporting the business with tax advice.

The main responsibilities include:

• Manage the annual tax compliance processes including Income Tax, FBT, R&D and monthly BAS.
• Manage tax accounting for statutory accounts and income tax forecasts
• Manage DHA's State Tax Equivalent payments comprising stamp duties, land taxes and payroll taxes.
• Provide tax advice to senior management on property development, construction and general property and business matters

About you

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and experience:

• Experience in managing a corporate tax function
• Detailed knowledge of income tax, GST and its application to property transactions, and State taxes.
• Experience in the provision of tax technical advice and briefing Senior Executives.
• Team management experience
• Highly developed analytical and communication skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting with Membership of CPA or CAANZ. Masters of Tax desirable.
