Accountant

Responsibilities:
Include general oversight of assigned processes within the consolidation and financial reporting process (preparation of journal entries, supporting schedules, statutory and management financial statements as well as note disclosures). Assist in the:

• Consolidation and preparation of interim and annual financial statements of the Group and of the assigned head office entities
• Preparation of variance analysis of and supporting schedules for consolidated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow analysis
• Preparation of budget for the head office entities
• Provision of analysis and insight for other assignments and ad hoc projects as needed
• Analyse business and financial performance
• Handle commercial and finance agreements
• Analyse payback for capex investment
• Liaise with various vendors, bankers and legal bodies
• Handle adhoc assignments and projects

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting/ Finance or related disciplines
• With a professional accounting qualification (member of HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent)
• 3 years' consolidation processing experience gained from big 4 accounting firms and / or sizable financial institutions
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards
• Well versed in MS Office and experience in using Oracle and Hyperion is an advantage
• Meticulous with strong analytical skill
• Good communication skills and organization skills
• Mature, independent, assertive and able to work under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English and proficient in Mandarin
