The Communications Coordinator - Abu Dhabi will be responsible to streamline all internal and external messages to ensure consitency and timely dissemination, whilst supporting the Communications Management team. The department is newly formed and has to be set up from scratch to instll the value of Corporate Comms across all offices. Focus will primarily be staff engagement, internal communications, and content development.

Description

The Communications Coordinator - Abu Dhabi will be responsible for the following:
  • Supporting the implementation of the Internal Communications plan.
  • Identifying and evaluating new and existing Internal Communications channels.
  • Assisting the Head of Communications by undertaking relevant research and studies, relating to projects, including full research, analysis and recommendations.
  • Owning the communications sections of Intranet ensuring all sections are up to date.
  • Reading all newsletters, external articles, documents that could enhance the understanding of the company's projects.
  • Developing monthly news overview from local and group sources, internally and externally.
  • Drafting and gaining approval on key messages relating to the company (Announcements, senior management biographies, company profiles etc.)
  • Ensuring the company website is up-to-date at all times, suggesting new content, edit gaining approval, and upload.
  • Supporting the Head of Comms and wider Crisis committee as directed in times of crisis.

    The Communications Coordinator - Abu Dhabi should have the following:
  • Experience in a communications role - client side or agency (at least 3 years)
  • Excellent writer
  • Strong analysis, technical, copywriting, and reporting skills.
