Due to growth our client is expanding both their London and regional offices and this additional Audit Senior will play a key role in developing the client base further.

Description
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead a variety of interesting and complex assignments across multiple sectors
- Prepare audit files, undertake audit planning and lead/assist with fieldwork
- Manage and develop the client relationships
- Prepare statutory accounts and consolidated accounts
- Produce tax computations and returns
- Prepare and manage assignment budgets and costs
- Assist in work allocation and supervise junior team members on audits, providing support, training and reviewing of work
- Ensure assignments are completed to a high standard, in set timeframes and within budgets agreed with Directors
- Develop specialist sector knowledge and keep up to date with industry developments
- Complete all work to the firm's compliance and quality standards
- Identify cross-selling opportunities
- Support in business development activities
Profile
To be considered for this position, you must be:
- ACCA/ACA qualified (or finalist)
- Have at least 3 years practical audit and accounts UK experience.
- Have a degree or equivalent
- Have audit experience in OMB/SMEs and a working knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS102/IFRS
- Be commercially aware with strong technical skills
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be fully fluent in English (verbally & in writing)
- Have an outstanding customer service focus & attention to detail
- Have strong IT skills (CCH, Caseware, Sage and Xero, excel, Quickbooks) and enjoy using the latest technology
- Have experience supervising teams & reviewing their work
- Strong and positive team player
- Enjoy developing expertise within the team
- Be confident, assertive and have a professional, can-do attitude
