Description

Permanent Part-time to work 3 days a week - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Responsibilities include:

  • Bank reconciliation in Xero
  • Provide Amex summary with receipts weekly
  • Accounts Receivable - invoicing retainers, on costs and success fees
  • Monthly BAS process and journal entries
  • Assist with FBT calculation and FBT annual return
  • Prepare month end supplier and staff payment summaries
  • Schedule payments in Xero upon approval
  • Month end journals and reconciliations for prepayment, accrual, income tax and depreciation
  • Update monthly AP & AR table for management reporting
  • Assist monthly management general ledger account templates
  • Update financials and cash forecast model with actual results
  • End of year fixed asset reconciliation and movement summary
  • Assist with operating lease schedules
  • Annual audit assistance
  • Assist annual payroll tax reconciliation and lodgement
  • Monthly payroll tax calculation
  • Set up new employees in Xero
  • Assist monthly Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) template with actual values
  • Ad hoc support and assistance when required

Profile

The successful applicant for the role will possess;

  • 1+ year experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Extensive knowledge of XERO is advantageous
  • Financial Services or Funds back ground would be beneficial
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail with accuracy
  • Proficient level in MS Office and outlook
