Head of Finance

Joining a leading international brand name working closely to support the CFO in the running of the finance function and coordinating with the APAC Region and shared services network. Drive commercial strategies and support business decision making across the entire ANZ business

An instantly recognisable global brand name, this business has some of their sector's most innovative and leading products. They operate across both the business to business and business to consumer segments with a wide range of customers. In Australia the business operates predominantly with an import and distribution model however knowledge of manufacturing of consumer goods would also be beneficial.

Description

• Work closely with senior commercial business partners within the business to drive better outcomes and profitability across the various customer segments
• Ensure the business meets all statutory financial reporting and compliance requirements
• Work closely with the overseas shared service functions to ensure integrity of the financials and results for the ANZ region
• Oversee the process of delivering on time and accurate results to the local leadership, the APAC regional office and provide performance analysis and insights to the Executive team
• Deliver the annual planning and budgeting processes, working closely with sales, finance, operations, supply chain and the ANZ corporate functions
• Ensure efficient and accurate sales forecasting processes are in place and make improvements where necessary
• Mentor and develop direct reports and support a culture of collaboration, mentoring and professional development.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will be a senior finance leader with broad experience across controlling, commercial and FP&A functions within complex multinational businesses. You will have experience working with off-shore shared services centres as well as local teams in delivering accurate results and you will be hands-on when required to ensure you meet these goals. You will also be an commercial and strategic thinker who can support the CFO in major projects to improve and grow the organisation. Finally you should be a confident and talented people leader.
