Description
Reporting through to the Group function, this role will primarily be responsible for a small team of four and have responsibility for treasury, shared services of capex, fixed assets and property within the Group finance function. Key duties will include but not be limited to:
- Generating cash flow forecasts (daily, monthly, yearly) and reporting on variances against actual and budgets.
- Preparing monthly Group cash flow statements from divisional cash flows and cash conversion reporting with commentary for Board reporting.
- Review of the daily cash flow summary prepared by the Treasury officer.
- Working with the Capex officers to prepare Capex reporting requirements.
- Preparing Receivables, Payables, Financing and Borrowing Costs reports and commentary for monthly Board reporting.
- Oversight of the company's treasury functions across Australia and NZ, predominantly being cash flow management across the multiple sites.
- Collaborating with the statutory reporting team for half-year and annual reporting requirements.
- Member of Treasury Committee led by the CFO, and preparation of the Treasury Committee report
- Monthly covenant compliance reporting and issued annual and bi-annual compliance certificate for signature by CFO
Profile
CA/ CPA qualified, you will have demonstrated a track record of success in a similar senior finance role within a chartered environment or within a group function of a large corporate. You will have a dual skillset across treasury and financial accounting) complemented by your ability to contribute to commercial outcomes. Your communication and leadership skills will be essential for this role as you will not only be leading a team, you will also be liaising with executives across the business.
