Credit Research Analyst, Vice President

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental credit analysis on Asian corporate credits and provide trade recommendations and relative value ideas for FI portfolio managers in various business lines.
- Provide industry analysis and industry data tracking to support credit views and segment allocation decisions of the investment team
- Attend regular earnings meetings, industry conferences, and company road-shows to be up-to-date about the operations and financial conditions of the credits under coverage; keep close assess to company's management team and follow its capital market actions
- New issue modeling, analysis and recommendations
- Due diligence visits and factory/project visits for credits under coverage;
- Provide volatility analysis of various credits/bonds, and provide credit risk inputs to the firm's investment risk-control framework

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in in Faculties of Economics, Finance or BBA required; advanced degree preferred with a strong statistical and research background
- Above 5 years of experience in credit research/credit investing, in a FI sell-side or fund management setting
- Strong fundamental credit research capability with independent thinking and high conviction of investment ideas
- Solid financial modeling and credit analysis skills, preferably with specialty in one or multiple high-yield segments
- Great communication skills to explain research views and to contribute to portfolio managers' decision making
- Preferably some experience in mentoring junior members of the research team
