Accounts Receivable Professionals (JESS) OVERVIEW: KPMG in Jamaica seeks to identify  Accounts Receivable Professionals  to support the Finance and Accounting (F&A) process area; performing tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures including, researching and processing cash applications, processing adjustments, and refunds, monitoring and responding to email queries, invoice preparation and distribution, preparing and sending statements. T he position will be assigned to our rapidly growing KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), which provides outsourcing services to a major client in the United States. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Apply cash transactions using SAP and established procedures within strict deadlines for multiple entities Monitor multiple mailboxes, responding to a wide variety of requests within a specified time Process non client (sundry) related invoices Resolve billing disputes with member firms, provide and reconcile statements Prioritize work assignments in order to meet strict daily deadlines Develop and deliver various reporting and analysis KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and COMPETENCIES: Education/Experience Team Lead Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent professional accreditation Minimum of three years of progressive accounts receivable and general accounting experience, in a people management capacity Advanced knowledge of Accounts Receivable and General Accounting Principles Strong communication and MS Excel Skills SAP experience preferred Senior Officer Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university required Minimum of three years of progressive accounts receivable and general accounting experience Advanced knowledge of Accounts Receivable and General Accounting Principles Strong communication and MS Excel Skills SAP experience preferred Officer Pursing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university required Minimum of two years of progressive accounts receivable and general accounting experience Ability to take guidance from Team Lead regarding account processes and procedures Technical Deep knowledge in one or more functional areas Strong understanding of overall delivery model and sources of value Ability to resolve escalated issues with stakeholders and teams Interfaces with senior level management and executives Maintains a long term view of operational and performance goals Interpersonal Engenders confidence in stakeholders, teams, and executives Resolve escalated issues diplomatically considering a variety of viewpoints Maintains a long term view of business goals and how to achieve them Keenly aware of team dynamics, strengths and weaknesses Leadership Demonstrated ability to advance the model and identify new business opportunities Effectively works across various support groups to maintain and optimize delivery performance Inspires a culture of continuous improvement that is consistent with firm values Supports the development of a high performance culture at all levels of the organization Follow us on Social Media We thank all interested applicants, however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. © 2018 KPMG in Jamaica, a Jamaican partnership and a member firm of the KPMG network of independent member firms affiliated with KPMG International Cooperative (“KPMG International”), a Swiss entity.  All rights reserved.  Printed in Jamaica.  KPMG and the KPMG logo are registered trademarks of KPMG International Cooperative (“KPMG International”), a Swiss entity.
