In this position, you would provide professional analytical support to CAP’s financial management function by assisting with business planning and development of business strategies. Experience in supporting capital project planning and budgeting for the capital improvement program is preferred. You would conduct analyses of program policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvements as well as plan or assist in planning analyses, presentations and implementation strategies for complete analyses or for portions of complex analyses requiring multiple disciplines. You would act as a consultant to other groups and management and provide technical guidance to other financial analysts.

To be successful in this role, you would have a Bachelor’s (or higher) level degree in a business or related field plus five years of related work experience. You would possess detailed knowledge about financial forecasting, analysis, and the creation of financial models. You would also be proficient in the use of complex spreadsheets.

Central Arizona Project is the largest supplier of renewable water in the state of Arizona. We operate and maintain a 336 mile long aqueduct and pumping plant system that stretches from our source at the Colorado River to the communities of central and southern Arizona.
