Position: Lead Accountant and Finance Team Manager
Grade 8
Salary: £40,700 - £45,577 per annum-(Qualified accountants will attract a pay enhancement of £7,754)

Status: Permanent
Working pattern: 36 hours per week; this position is Full Time

Are you a recently qualified accountant, or a part-qualified accountant who is towards the very end of their professional studies?

Come and join our ACAS Finance team which is part of the Finance, Estates and People Directorate.

We aim to provide support to the business through:

  • preparation of financial statements
  • financial planning and budget management
  • funding the strategic priorities of the organisation
  • provision of financial advice and guidance
  • maintenance of internal control systems
  • providing assurance on compliance with good Corporate Governance practice
  • maintenance of financial systems, and payment of invoices and travel and subsistence claims

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Accountant and Finance Team Manager

This is a high profile role within the Finance team that will  have a range of responsibilities that includes covering management accounting, accounts preparation, the refinement and development of the new finance system and the opportunity to make a direct contribution to improving in-house financial processes and services provided to colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
