Ac Technical Audit and Airworthiness Manager/Chief Engineer Postuler Information clé Electrique, Mécatronique Recherche, conception et développement Ingénieur & Cadre Twinsburg, Ohio, ETATS–UNIS CDI, Temps complet BAC+3, BAC+4 Supérieure à 8 ans 25 Description de la mission Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate with the Divisional and other site Technical Audit and Airworthiness activities to achieve the divisional objectives (strategy, skills & competences, Process, tools & methods standardization, coordination of resource sharing across sites), covering the full life cycle of the Product from R&T to end of life. Providing support, where required, to Technical Audit and Airworthiness activities at other sites Technical Audit Responsibilities: 1. Implement and manage a standardized process for Systematic Technical Audits across all projects within the site 2. Lead scheduled Technical Audits and support other design reviews 3. Facilitate the provision of experts to support Technical Audits 4. Manage technical audits at the request of Engineering or Program Management or as a result of issues raised during product design and development 5. Manage technical audits in the event of an incident or accident 6. Manage technical audits at suppliers of design services 7. Provide support to project teams before and during external reviews (with customers or airworthiness authorities) 8. Monitor embedding of lessons learned (and other exchange of information/experience) within CoEs 9. Coordinate with site CoEs to ensure that appropriate resources are deployed to investigate and resolve technical problems Airworthiness Responsibilities: 1. Implement a standardized process for embedding demonstration of compliance with airworthiness requirements across all projects within the division 2. Facilitate training to increase awareness of airworthiness issues within site CoEs Ability to travel both internationally & domestically for workshops and training as needed Other related duties may be assigned. Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor of Science Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering * A minimum of eight (8) years' experience working in an engineering role Knowledge/Skills * Recognized breadth of knowledge across the Twinsburg mechanical product range (electric machines, high–speed rotating equipment, generators, starter–generators, motors, ram air turbine systems and electronic enclosures. * Extensive knowledge of airworthiness processes. * Familiarity with FAR, SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP 4761, RTCA DO–160, military and aerospace standards. * Knowledge of hand calculations, capabilities and limitations of various analysis tools (FEA, CFD) and able to effectively engage in discussions about meaning limitations and risks of various analysis methods with design engineers and analysts. * Capability to work with executive level and multi–discipline teams (R & T, engineering, manufacturing, product support subjects), suppliers and customers. * Preferred Qualifications: * Five (5) years' experience in an Airworthiness, Chief Engineer, or Engineering Manager role. * Experience with high–speed rotating machinery (i.e. pumps, turbines, engines). * Experience with electric machines (motors, generators) is a big plus. The Site Technical Audit and Airworthiness Manager/Chief Engineer, is responsible for ensuring that products and systems designed at the site are thoroughly assessed for compliance with Safran, customer and Airworthiness requirements, and for ensuring that any deficiencies that are identified are addressed effectively and in a timely manner.
