Finance - FRR focus - AVP to VP

Job responsibilities:

• Manage daily financial accounting operations and participate in job allocation of department staff;
• Develop and maintain accounting information systems to monitor and report liquid capital for licensed corporations under Financial Resources Rules and other SFC financial requirements;
• Coordinate the group financial statements consolidation including subsidiaries & joint ventures with different types of activities in accordance with accounting standards;
• Prepare various MIS reports for internal business purposes;
• Develop and maintain financial accounting procedures for new or expanding business operations and products;
• Prepare and review accounting treatment and vouchers of transactions for all group companies;
• Communicates with auditors and internal departments for interim and year-end audit as well as routine accounting controls for internal and external audit purposes;
• Prepare and review PRC financial reports for head office consolidation and Ministry of Finance disclosure;
• Attend and take all relevant compliance and risk training, fulfill all compliance responsibilities as required for the job; participate in raising risk awareness in the department; comply with regulatory requirement and internal guidelines; and contribute to the reporting of all incidents.

Job requirements:

• Over 8 years relevant financial accounting experience with exposure in investment banking industry; Less experience is considered for Associate position; Supervisory experience is required for AVP position;
• Sound practical experience in handling securities & futures transactions and SFC financial requirements;
• Knowledge in PRC financial reporting for head office consolidation and Ministry of Finance disclosure is preferred;
• Degree in accountancy or finance is preferred;
• Audit experience is a plus
