Senior Finance Business Analyst

My client is a financial services organisation based in Edinburgh. This role will report to the Workstream Project Manager.

Senior Finance Business Analyst Requirements:

• Accounting Model definition & delivery. Able to define finance system transaction processing / mapping.
• Design & delivery of Financial Reconciliation model for target & migration. Including report design, reconciliation process and templates.
• Working closely with 3rd party technology suppliers in the delivery of the Finance requirements for target & migration. Able to exercise close oversight and challenge 3rd party where needed.
• Work with the in-house Finance functions on their deliverables ensuring requirements from/to suppliers are met.
• Manage relationship with business stakeholders & multiple 3rd party suppliers/partners in relation to Finance delivery.
• Act as SME for Finance design, working closely with wider programme team.
• Lead multiple stakeholders through approval & sign-off across end to end Finance delivery.
• Drive Finance Business Readiness & Finance Migration Event deliverables.

Senior Finance Business Analyst skills:

• Financial services background is essential
• Experience of delivering Migration projects.
• Able to work on own initiative, manage multiple suppliers & lead the Finance business change.
