Finance Manager

The successful Finance Manager will be responsible for all financial and accounting processes for the Group. You will also be responsible for supporting, developing and providing strong leadership to your team and be a strong team player, provide encouragement and insight to the rest of the senior management team.

Description

The successful Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Producing accurate and timely management accounts with analysis of variances

• Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Ensure adequate controls are in place and assist in the implementation of new processes and controls

• Assist in the production of statutory year-end accounts and audit pack for the Group

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts of future performance of the business

• Staff management (including coaching, mentoring and development) for the finance team

• Be part of the senior management team that provides strategic financial and operational advice to the Board

Profile

The successful Finance Manager :

• A qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or qualified by experience
• Have experience of working in a regulated environment
• Will have a strong proven track record of managing and developing a team
• Be a team player
• Can hit the ground running and has a proactive approach
• Have a good attention to detail and excellent problem solving abilities
• Will be an effective communicator, with the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels
