THE OPPORTUNITY:


This is a great opportunity to join a well established and respected organisation based in Leicester. The main purpose of the role will be to perform all updates to administration software and to become the main point of contact between the In-House department and the Pensions administration software provider.


The Client needs someone to start ASAP, and the role will initially be based on a 12 month fixed term contract.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


- Dealing with retirement calculations and reviewing complete retirement applications


- Setting up new pensioners on the payroll system.


- Perform calculations for all scheme leavers, preparing communications to those members detailing the options they have upon leaving the scheme.


- Obtain monthly data files, containing salary and contribution information, from the Company payroll and HR systems departments.


- Review and where necessary reconcile the data before loading to the In-House administration system.


- Prepare contributions files for investment with fund managers.


- Process quarterly realignment for those who are invested in a scheme lifestyle.


- A number of other data updates are required including daily price files, weekly part time hour changes and payroll number changes.


- Update maternity leave details and preparing scheme leavers lists for processing. Monthly interfaces from DC third party administrator to update fund values for DC members.


- Monthly reconciliation of pension scheme contributions, monthly processing of overseas pension contributions and arrangement of half yearly prepayments by overseas group employers.


- Housekeeping including archiving, preparing and uploading bulk documents and liaison with the third party administration software provider to resolve issues.


- To become the key contact with the Pensions administration software provider and support the Assistant Pensions Manager in resolving systems queries and planning upgrades.


EXPERIENCE SOUGHT AFTER IN SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:


It would be advantageous to have previous experience of occupational pension schemes within an In-House or Third

Party Pensions Administration function.


Knowledge of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution legislation.


Great attention to detail.


Very good level of Excel and be experienced in handing large volumes of data.


Great organisational skills and be able to prioritise their workload.


Positive and professional attitude


The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
