Anti-Money Laundering (AML) mitigates money laundering and terrorist financing risks for Citi and its customers in the global marketplace. Skilled analysts, state-of-the-art technology and global standards, policies and procedures are the foundational support for the analyst’s effective monitoring and reporting of suspicious activities.

This is a Global AML Governance, Risk and Control Audit & Issue Manager role responsible for providing Risk & Control (R&C) coordination to AML functions. The overall objective is to ensure effective risk assessment and a strong control environment are in place to achieve compliance with all relevant policies and to ensure that global Citi risk standards are followed. Additionally, the position will drive high quality standards for controls and demonstrate these to Citi AML business partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

Provide leadership on Citi AML Issues and associated action plans globally. Manage iCAPS and the associated surrounding work from initiation through closure, including timely closure, documentation requirements, and on time system entry.

Drive the global applicability analysis (GAA) program across all countries and regions and assess whether newly identified Issues in AML apply to other areas / regions.

Collaborate with CITI AML regions and functions to proactively ensure audit and exam readiness. Partner with respective teams to proactively ensure audit and exam readiness. Provide support for the development and successful implementation of consistent audit management standards and practices throughout AML globally.

Provide general support for a variety of Risk & Control activities.

Produce and manage metrics regarding issues and audits for Citi AML.

Develop and actively manage relationships across AML and the business, facilitating proactive and transparent communications.

Lead risk initiatives to improve the bank’s position with respect to matters requiring attention.

Comprehension, interpretation, implementation of policies and procedures, taking into account the regulatory or business environment.

Support the AML functions to ensure adherence and compliance to the procedures in place.


Qualifications
QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience6+ years of relevant experienceExperience with Anti Money Laundering (preferred) Risk / Operations / Audit / Management Experience Awareness of AML regulations and banking products (preferred)Computer Literacy Excellent written and oral communications.
