Description

The Management Accountant role is initially for 3 months with opportunity to be extended.

• Supporting the preparation of the monthly financial statements including Trial Balance, Income Statement and Balance Sheet
• Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations (including investigation and resolution of any errors/discrepancies)
• Provide relevant, meaningful financial information to other departmental managers to assist business decision making
• Monthly reporting including variance reporting, sales & margin analysis and inventory analysis Support Maintenance of Fixed Asset database, including depreciation
• Support in the completion of the annual statutory accounts and corporation tax submission
• Assisting in the preparation of the UK VAT return with quarterly submission

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should ideally:

Have previous experience of variance analysis and comparing actual results to standard budget costs, forecasts

Have experience of Balance sheet reconciliation

Have experience of being involved in Internal/External Audits

Strong Excel skills- v look up and pivot tables level
