Having undergone strong sustained growth over the last few years, with substantial growth still projected, they are seeking an AP Manager/Supervisor to oversee their Purchase Ledger function in Milton Keynes. Description
Key responsibilities of the successful AP manager include:
* Motivating and leading the Accounts Payable team
* Streamlining and improving the Accounts Payable processes
* Supporting key change initiatives and drive through continuous improvement
* Ensuring compliance within a robust control framework
* Responsible for internal and external audit deliverables for Accounts Payable
* Define and own KPIs for the Purchase to Pay process
* Implementation and review of supplier statement reconciliations
* Review payment runs prior to passing to senior finance team for approval
* Review and Finance approve all Purchase Orders
* Providing other ad-hoc reporting to line managers and stakeholders
Profile
The successful AP manager will be:
* Experienced in managing/supervising an Accounts Payable function
* Have exposure to Purchase to Pay tools
* Track record of experiencing change/improvements in the department
* Adherence to internal controls
* Experienced of managing/supervising team within periods of substantial change
* Ideally experience of leading continuous improvement
As well as living a commutable distance from Milton Keynes.
