SF Group are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced and adaptable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small team initially on a temporary basis with a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:
- Code and check invoices, check purchase order on the system
- Processing invoices on the system
- Check and reconcile supplier statements
- File invoices and statements
- Deal with purchase enquiries
- Monitor HMRC duty entry invoices
- Preparation of Month-end accruals/Statements
- Allocating payment from customers on the system
- Credit control
- Reception cover (for afternoon and Holidays)
- Greet and assist visitors
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an accounts function and will have the ability to work both within a team and independently. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and with have a good grasp of IT with the ability to learn new systems and processes.
