Credit Controller
Optima Professional Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a highly profitable division of a worldwide business based in Castle Donington. My client manufactures and supplies high engineered products for a range of market sectors including agriculture, aerospace and automotive. As an organisation they offer great opportunities to develop your career in the UK or abroad.
The Credit Controller will report directly to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for managing an extensive ledger of customers, including overseas. You will ensure that collection is maximized with agreed timescales and payment terms. Produce monthly aged debtor analysis, credit queries and ensuring prompt resolution.
Duties include:

Minimise bad debt.

Investigate & resolve credit risk and problem accounts.

Ensure high performance by implementing ideas and processes.
-
Proactively chase overdue accounts.

Ensure that external customers adhere to company credit policies.

Ad hoc duties when necessary.
You will also need the following skills:

Strong communication skills.
-
Good knowledge of MS Office and Excel.

Ability to keep to deadlines and good organisational skills.

Experienced in debt collection.

Confident to demonstrate a flare for process and procedure change.

Good influencing skills.
Our client is looking to hire someone who has previously performed in a similar role and has extensive knowledge of Credit Control.
