Description of the job:

A vacancy for an Accountant Confirmed General Ledger / Closing for AIRBUS SAS position has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Toulouse. You will join the Financial Accounting Department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Closing consolidation for the Balance Sheet (BS) :
  • Controlling the completeness and coherence of the BS,
  • Analysing the main variations,
  • Implementing the quality checks and review of the data quality,
  • Preparing the activity report, part BS,
  • Preparing the Annual accounts and fiscal declaration in line with the Tax department,
  • Deploying the IFRS rules, understanding, definition of the process and implementation in our ERP Accounting (SAP),
  • Coordinating different departments, internal and external : cost accounting , tax department, technical accounting,
  • Harmonizing the accounting processes (France , Germany, Spain, UK),
  • Coordinating the ERM (risk department) topic for accounting department.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to a 5 years' degree level (or equivalent) in Finance/Accounting or a related discipline,
  • Good Knowledge of SAP modules FI CO,
  • Language skills : Negotiation level of English.
