Property Accountant

The client is looking for a part-qualified Property Accountant to manage the day to day functions of the accounts department and aid the rest of the team with additional tasks. They are a progressive, dynamic Real estate and Property firm that is based in South West London (Regent Street) with projects all over London.

They are a Real Estate and Property firm that develops and manages commercial and residential properties all over London. As well as working all over Central London, they are based in the prime location of South West London (Regent Street). They are looking for a Property Accountant to join their team.

Description

The successful Property Accountant will be:

• Coding the purchase ledger invoices and credit notes
• Dealing with the accruals and prepayments
• Handling the bank reconciliations
• Project/construction accounting, reporting and budgeting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Service charge accounting, both preparation of annual service charge budgets with the Property Director and reporting of current year service charge accounts
• Liaising with external managing agents with regards to outsourced service charge accounts
• Involved with the implementation and setup of a new property management software
• Raising of quarterly and monthly rental sales invoices
• Management and ultimate collection of any resultant rent arrears
• Preparation of year end audit packs and involvement with the annual on site audit

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Familiar with Property Accounting
• Have experience in preparing monthly Management Accounts
• Have experience in Service Charge Accounting

Job Offer

• £30,000 - £35,000 pa
