Our client is a growing Private Equity business, based in Mayfair. Due to the recent successful raise of a new fund, a fully qualified fund accountant is sought in a newly created position. You will likely be a newly/recently qualified accountant from practice or from the investment management sector.
The Role:
- Detailed review of quarterly and annual fund and SPV accounts prepared by administrators.
- Review fund drawdown and distribution notices to LPs
- Oversee management fee calculations, fund invoicing and payments
- Liaise with the auditors regarding audit of the annual accounts
- Assist in reviewing investor tax reporting (US, UK)
- Liaise with administrators on KYC items across all vehicles / structures
- Assist with ad hoc investor queries
- Working with the asset management team to maintain accurate loan data
- Ensure smooth operation of payment and loan authorisation processes
- Review borrower loan statements prepared by administrator
- Maintain Fund / Loan performance models (actual and forecast)
- Cash-flow forecasting, liquidity and treasury work
Requirements:
- You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Ideal experience will be from mid-tier practice, perhaps with investment management exposure
- Private Equity fund accounting experience will also be highly advantageous. A move from third party fund administration would be ideal
- Excellent all round interpersonal skills, able to work well with people at all levels
- Able to work in small teams
