Our client, who is an exciting and entrepreneurial private equity real estate fund is looking to hire a Senior Investment Associate to join their highly regarded team. Earlier this year the company closed its inaugural fund and are now raising for a second opportunistic fund with a target size of c£150 million. The role will be based in London and holds the opportunity to work very closely with the Partners, finance and investment teams. This is an incredibly broad role and will allow significant exposure. The foundations and frameworks of the fund are in place and they are now ready to bring in an exceptional individual to help facilitate the growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Portfolio monitoring and management activities including evaluation of exit scenarios, securing senior debt and coordinating fund finance relationships
  • Sustaining operating and fund level cash flow forecasts and managing fund cash, including LP drawdowns as required
  • Maintaining fund models from acquisition through exit
  • Ensuring compliance with the LPA
  • Producing monthly high-level and quarterly detailed management accounts for Partners
  • Coordinating and directing the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances with JV partners
  • Preparation of financials for LPs
  • Managing external teams as appropriate in relation to the corporate administration and accounting of portfolio vehicles
  • Development of JV partner control policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with JV agreements
  • Attending and contributing to internal and external project meetings
  • Preparation of investment committee reports
  • Providing financial and analytical support for deals alongside the investment team


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Experience within the private equity / investment banking real asset space
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures, principles and the preparation of financial statements
  • Ability to build and manage financial models at both Fund and SPV level
  • Strong IT and administration skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • First class academics
