Tax Manager, Transfer Pricing

Responsibilities

• Prepare local transfer pricing documentation reports for the Group companies in the US, EMEA, and APAC
• Coordinate with the regional/local tax and finance team to gather company information and financial data required for the preparation of the country-by-country reporting information and TP documentation reports
• Conduct regional/local benchmarking analyses for the Group companies, considering each company's functional and risk profile
• Coordinate with external advisors as to outsourced transfer pricing analyses, and review advisor output and outcomes
• Analyze the Group companies' profitability and align their transfer pricing outcomes with the respective companies' value creation
• Monitor global/local regulatory developments in transfer pricing area
• Take initiative in supporting ad-hoc projects (such as tax and TP audits, restructurings, valuation transactions etc)

Requirements

• University graduate in Economics / Finance / Accounting or relevant disciplines
• 5 years' experience in international transfer pricing
• Candidates from Big 4 will be preferred
• Proficient knowledge of transfer pricing regulations (OECD) and various country level transfer pricing regulations
• Knowledge of international tax rules and regulations is a plus
• Proficiency in excel and commonly used transfer pricing benchmarking tools/databases
• Excellent analytical skills coupled with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Strong planning and organizing skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight timeline
• Strong work ethics, being independent and established self-starter with proven ability to make decisions and follow through on projects to completion
• Global business acumen with proven ability to communicate with stakeholders in various countries
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Transfer Pricing Manager
