Client Details
The client is a renowned FMCG company with an international presence. Sustained growth in their Bedford offices has led to the need for a finance analyst to support a number of their sites.
Description
Key Finance Analyst responsibilities include:
- Proactively Business Partner with all Operations teams to ensure a good understanding of the key cost drivers and analyse how any current issues the operation is facing would impact on finance
- Posting required journals to the system
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Variance analysis
- Reporting to Board level
- Ownership of the capital reporting process
- Keep accrual and prepayment schedules
- Maintain asset register and analyse depreciation in line with expectations
- Report contractual KPIs
- Presenting financial information to non-finance business partners
Profile
The successful Finance Analyst will be:
- A Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 2 years finance experience
- Demonstrable evidence of business partnering in a previous role
- Confident explaining financial concepts and data to non-finance colleagues and clients
- Excellent IT skills, especially Excel and at least one major ERP system such as Sage, Oracle, SAP or Navision
- A confident, clear communicator
- A self-starter who proactively seeks out colleagues to collaborate on issues
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task to meet tight deadlines
- Keen to progress their career in a company committed to personal and professional development
- Live a commutable distance from Bedford
