Audit Senior (€55k- €65k)

You will be self-motivated, capable of working on your own initiative and have the ability to plan, control and complete audit engagements. Duties and Responsibilities Delivering a quality audit, from planning to completion stage, in advance of deadlines, with limited supervision Investigating all audit issues to arrive at a solution or proposed solution Draft reports covering financial statements, client business issues, systems and controls and other issues in the engagement plan Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements Assist with concluding documents including drafting the audit findings report Dealing with escalated client issues from junior members of the audit team in a timely manner Identifying the potential opportunities to provide additional value-added service to the client Accounts preparation for SME's/ Sole traders Preparing tax returns both corporate and personal Dealing directly with client on a day to day basis and building a good working relationship. Skills and Qualifications Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant Prior practice experience within an Audit team Strong technical knowledge Experience in supervising junior staff members on audit assignments Excellent technical and interpersonal skills Team player with strong communication and leadership potential
