Financial Controller

Courtown Adventure and Leisure Centre is an ambitious community based Company seeking to recruit for this key role to help its adventure and leisure centre complex develop into one of the leading leisure and tourist attractions in the South East of Ireland. The ideal candidate will coordinate the finance projects specifically relating to payroll, management accounts, budgets. Some company secretarial work will also be required. Duties and Responsibilities: Overseeing the maintenance of accurate books and records in accordance with tax, company law and regulations Assisting external auditors in respect of the annual audit of the financial statements Preparation of all monthly reporting to external parties - managing any related queries Implementation of procedures, processes and policies to ensure best practice in financial and regulatory reporting Bank, Debtors and Creditor reconciliation Staff training and stock control Qualifications and Experience: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a minimum of 3-5 years PQE Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and resolve problems Self-starter approach to work and problem solving, detail oriented, highly organised, and motivated Proven track record of ensuring reporting deadlines and obligations are met on a timely basis Broad practical knowledge of tax, including corporation tax and VAT Please apply below with an up to date CV and Cover Letter.
