International Accounts Payable Executive :

Responsible for all areas of Accounts Payable from invoice entry, to payment procedure for Europe and American entities. Provide support for other department functions such as General Accounting.

Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

International Accounts Payable Executive :

• Responsible for invoice entry, and payment processing for vendor invoices.

• Works with associates as well as suppliers to resolve discrepancies and ensure vendor invoice compliance

• Review, process and pay employee expense reports each week.

• Train new employee's on expense system

• Review AP Batch edits prepared by other members of the AP team.

• Set up, entry and processing of external consultant invoices.

• Prepares journal entries for reclasses, intercompany transactions or other adjustments.

• Assist with AP Close at period end.

General Accounting

• Preparation of journals

• Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations for pre-payments, accruals.

Other

• Ensure strict compliance with SOX controls.

• Preparation of documentation for internal and external auditors.

• Proactively identify process improvements and support change management initiatives.

• Special projects as needed.

Profile

To secure the International Accounts Payable Executive role then you will need to have experience in a previous role as an AP Clerk.

You must have:

* International / multi currency AP experience

* Worked for an international business - ideally with US entity so be familiar with SOX / Sarbines Ox

You will ideally have worked within a professional service / consultancy / legal firm and have Oracle experience.

You must be able to get to the City of London location with ease.
