Management Accountant

On behalf of a business based near the centre of Reading I am recruiting for a permanent Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

Client Details

My client has gone through a recent restructure and has everything in place to grow and develop the finance team in the next 2-3 years.

Description

The successful applicant for this role will get exposure to the following key duties:

• Preparation and input of monthly accruals and prepayments
• Assist with preparation and reconciliations of monthly management accounts
• VAT returns
• Overseeing purchase ledger to ensure all costs are approved
• Sales ledger and client invoicing
• Credit control focusing on reducing outstanding debtors
• Balance sheet reconciliations

Profile

The successful candidate will fulfil the following criteria:

• Part Qualified ACCA with good academic background
• Previous management accounting experience in a commercial environment is essential
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Competent in using a range of financial systems and MS Excel
• Full UK driving licence

Job Offer

This position offers a competitive salary of between £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience along with 23 days holiday, bonus scheme, contributory pension, free parking.
