What you'll do
Treasury Risk is responsible for maintaining and developing a strong second line of defence across the RBS Treasury. You'll provide this second line coverage across the RBS Treasury's Funding, Liquidity and Capital activities.

What you'll do
Treasury Risk is responsible for maintaining and developing a strong second line of defence across the RBS Treasury. You'll provide this second line coverage across the RBS Treasury's Funding, Liquidity and Capital activities.
Your main responsibilities are to:
- Provide timely, accurate and independent risk information to support Executives within RBS Treasury for funding risk, liquidity risk and capital
- Ensure that risk information is presented and analysed to fulfil the essential control and risk management requirements for the business to operate
- Ensure that the Treasury activities comply with the bank's risk appetite and the risk management standards requested from RBS stakeholders
- Engage on key pieces of work such as budget plan, planning cycles, outputs of stress tests and recovery plans
The skills you'll need
You'll need extensive experience working within a Treasury function, ideally with exposure and understanding of Funding and Liquidity. You should also have experience working within a Risk Management function.
You'll also need:
- A depth of knowledge of second line risk review and challenge
- To be technically strong
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
