Credit Control Agent

Chill Insurance is currently on the lookout for a Credit Control Agent to join our Team. We're after individuals who are talented, motivated, and ambitious and are looking to progress in the Insurance business. We are looking for a person who can inspire and deliver results and wants to progress within the organisation. The role will report directly to the Credit Control Team Leader.  As the business continues to grow we are looking for a dynamic individual who is capable of developing their career rapidly.    Key Responsibilities  Contacting customers on a daily basis by telephone/letter/email to collect outstanding balances  Dealing with customer queries  Resolving any billing and payment issues  Delivering a high level of customer service  Any other ad-hoc duties as deemed appropriate  Developing a broad understanding of all the company products, services and business objectives  Flexible work ethos  Qualifications  The ideal candidate will have at least APA Qualification and working towards CIP Qualification    Experience  At least 1-2 years experience in a customer service or credit control team dealing with the general public  Accounts experience, whilst not a prerequisite, would be an advantage  An understanding of commercial decision making  Previous experience of working in the Personal Insurance Industry  Skills  Excellent communication skills  Confidence to make decisions  Ability to work effectively in a team environment  Highly organised and be able to work on own initiative  A positive, innovative attitude with the ability to handle new assignments and projects with an open mind
