Financial Accountant

A broad and commercial Financial Accountant role for a leading global law firm that will be responsible for providing accurate and timely analysis and support to the Senior Finance Manager.

A leading global law firm based in Central London. The department this role will sit within is involved in managing accounts, budgets and forecasts, providing trend and competitor analysis and more.

Description

The specific purpose of this role is to completely regular tasks accurately and timely and provide analysis and support to the Senior Finance Manager.

The role also involves ad hoc tasks to be completed, in relation to budgeting, management accounting, statutory reporting, internal/external audits and internal/external client requirements.

Profile

The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with ideally 2 years post qualified experience within industry or practice. They will be able to demonstrate experience of working within a Finance team, completion of VAT returns and dealing with audits, ideally within a Professional Service firm environment. They will have experience and knowledge of latest VAT regulations and IFRS requirements.

This person will need to quickly build relationships across the Finance Team and understand existing systems and processes. You will need to ensure processes and controls are appropriate and influence others if/when change is necessary.

This person will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude to understand new concepts and processes quickly. There will be some routine tasks, but work will also be varied and adhoc. An ability to prioritise is key.

Job Offer

A salary of £50,000 to £60,000
