Senior Analyst Accounting Policies

SkillSet: checklists provided by Business, technical accounting. Advise Corporate and Business Unit Controllers on their technical accounting questions and provide them with guidance to resolve their accounting challenges on a timely basis; Establish and update accounting policies in line with IFRS and adapted to CGIs customary business practices; Ensure that revenue recognition checklists provided by Business Unit Controllers are filed on time, are complete and accurate; Participate in the review of the Notes to the quarterly and year-end financial statements and validate that the Notes meet IFRS disclosure requirements; Provide Accounting Policy training sessions to Business Units worldwide and at Corporate level; Assist the Director Accounting Policies and his team members with various ad hoc projects requiring input from the Accounting Policies team. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelors degree in business, or equivalent; Professional accounting title; At least 5 years of relevant experience. Other requirements : Bilingual; Excellent knowledge of IFRS; Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to a new environment; Good researching and writing skills; A sense of autonomy, initiative and responsibility; Team work oriented; Good understanding of priorities and respect for deadlines; Ability to produce high quality deliverables and work under tight deadlines; Knowledgeable with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
